Getting reports of some decent bass fishing

Lake Pleasant - New River , AZ

by Arizona Game & Fish Department

At Lake Pleasant, we're getting reports of some decent bass fishing. Anglers were having some success with topwater, drop-shot rigs and Senkos. Water levels have been dropping (1,162 feet this week). Fishing for white bass and stripers was only fair as they adjust to the lowered water levels. Also at Pleasant, angler Marco B. recently reported catching about 30 stripers on Bobby Garland while night fishing. No keepers, but it was a lot of fun
