No issues launching any size boat. Flathead Catfish angling should be good as the fish are now in a post-spawn feeding mode. Use live sunfish as bait at dusk and into the dark at the mouth and into Ash Canyon, as well as the entire southern shoreline of the lake. As water temperatures begin to slowly cool, the active topwater boils of Largemouth Bass on Threadfin Shad will become less frequent, though you may be able to find some boils in the middle of the day. To target Largemouth Bass, hone in on shad boils using topwater lures and shad glidebaits. Even if no shad boils are active, shad imitation crank baits and glide baits will perform well when cast around structure and given
moderate-fast retrieves.
