Fishing is moderate; anglers have reported catching large (16-plus inches) healthy fish. Fishing early in the day is recommended as water temperatures are still approaching stressful levels, which is resulting in lower feeding activity and fish seeking deeper water for refuge. Fishing should pick up as water temperatures start to cool this fall.
