Striped Bass Are Biting Just South of Davis Dam

Striped bass are biting just south of Davis Dam and throughout Big Bend State Recreation Area. A variety of topwater lures, swimbaits, and anchovies are getting hit. Anglers targeting rainbow trout are having success with mice tails and PowerBait. Catfish can be found hiding in the shadows of vegetation along the shoreline of the river.
