June 16 report from Mark Knapp at Alamo Lake State Park:
Well folks, I have to make this simple and quick. The staff and I went out and cleared off as much as we could using rakes and shovels to knock down the prop wash. Launch as close as you can to the dock. Although we managed to knock the dirt down a couple of feet you still want o be careful with your lower unit hitting the pile. We will try to keep a lane open as long as we can. Everything else is the same as far as fishing goes. Catfishing is good even from the shoreline. Crappie is hit and miss. No reports on a night bite. Bass fishing is OK. Evenings are the best. Well, they found me. Gotta go -- Mark
