Following windy conditions early in the week, anglers can look forward to light winds and sunny skies this weekend. Striper action has been light with anglers finding success with anchovies. Catfish also are taking anchovies. Unseasonably warm temperatures have the sun fish species turning on. A blue gill weighing it at more than a pound was fooled by a piece of night crawler thrown by a shore angler. Anglers will have better luck working some of the calmer water.
