The storm on Sunday really bumped the river and clouded it up

Fishing conditions:  Fair

Report: The storm on Sunday really bumped the river and clouded it up quite a bit on the lower end. If you go you should go higher in the system to find lower, clear water. This year with the lack of snow the Salmonflies and Golden Stones will be emerging early, like a month early. Keep a variety of Chubby Chernobyls on hand and fish dry-dropper. On sunny days you can possibly get a hatch, so a well-stocked dry box would be a shame to leave at home. We'd recommend fishing Hat Creek or the McCloud at Ash Camp for now.
