Striped bass action remains good at Lake Mead, with anglers finding success using live shad and anchovies from the Boulder Beach Fishing Pier. Anglers fishing in the early morning and overnight hours are averaging higher catch rates than those fishing during the day. Boaters trolling shad-style lures in approximately 40 feet of water are also reporting steady action. Black bass fishing is improving around Callville Bay, where fish are coming up to bone-colored swimbaits and walking baits.
