Fishing is great for bluegill and trout. PowerBait (in various multicolored patterns) and live bait are what works best. Smaller Rapalas or crayfish imitation lures trolled slowly have produced walleye. Known for holding the Arizona state record for walleye. Spinnerbaits cast around the dam and surrounding area are best for smallmouth bass. Fishing docks are available for use again. Best fished in early afternoon. Trout being caught are averaging 14 to 18 inches.
