The Brown Trout Incentivized Harvest with Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and Arizona Game & Fish Department is still going on! That’s right, you can still be rewarded for catching brown trout in the Colorado River! The harvest area is the 16 miles of river between the Glen Canyon Dam and the mouth of the Paria River.

The current reward is $33 per brown trout and an extra $50 for every three trout harvested each month. In addition, anglers will be rewarded $300 for each PIT tag turned in.
Anglers must have a valid fishing license in Arizona to participate, click the link in our bio for more information!
