Colorado River - Laughlin - Laughlin, NV

It's a good thing I am catching fish, but I do need some of our local anglers and or visiting anglers to stop in and share their catch. Our weather is getting better the wind is down. We just got a trout stocking on Wednesday, and we will be getting our rainbow trout till the end of the month. The rainbows brought to us are from The Willow Beach Hatchery. The crew there takes great pride in raising these fish for anglers to catch. the trout stocking sites for the rest of this season will be community park and Davis Camp.

I am holding a couple of fish I landed using a z-manns tube jig with the ned head. This works on a variety of fish as you can see. I am holding a largemouth bass and a nice size pan fish a red ear, I think. One of my most favorite areas the back bay or Laughlin Bay. This area has a great fish population and a lot of cover for their protection. Cat tails and the area is mostly non-motorized only. Oh yes, I did let them go I like to practice catch and release with the largemouth bass and the small mouth bass. On the other side they are a great eating fish. For me I happen to enjoy the stripers for various recipes, like fish tacos a favorite of mine. A reminder you can purchase your fishing license through Arizona game and fish online. Hope this helps some for now and we look forward to seeing you in soon to share that catch and your story. Mostly thanks so much for all of your support.
