As daytime temperatures push closer to the century mark, early morning and evening hours are quickly becoming the most productive for anglers. Striped bass are biting all over the lake but many are in the 10- to 12-inch range. Anchovies are working well; just keep them frozen as long as you can. Catfish are taking baits just off the shoreline. The fish are hiding near brush below the shelves.
