Projected to be Good

South Fork Reservoir - Elko, NV (Elko County)

South Fork is 90% covered with unsafe ice. There is some open water in the flats at the south end of the lake, though it is shallow there and fishing is difficult. As of Wednesday, there wasn’t enough open water along the shoreline for fishing, but with the weather predicted for the weekend, that is going to change any day now. Once there is enough open water to fish, expect fishing to be good.
