Bowhunter Field Day

The Nevada Department of Wildlife is holding a Bowhunter Education Certification Field Day on Saturday, November 8th. Students must complete the online workbook at www.bowhunter-ed.com prior to the class date. This class includes classroom and range time. Once completed, you will receive an International Bowhunter Education Foundation certification that is accepted in all 50 states, and the provinces of Canada, and Mexico. The class is limited and registration is required.


What: We will cover general safety, bowhunting tips and tricks, blood trailing, range estimation, and shooting 3D targets.
When: Saturday, November 8th, 2014. 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Where: Verdi Library 270 Bridge St. Verdi, NV 89523

Ages: Minimum 12 years of age.
Bring: Dress accordingly; bring your own bow and accessories for the 3D target shooting.
Cost: $30 for the online portion of the course. The Field Day is free.
