Fly fishing the last couple of weeks has been very challenging on the lake due to warm weather. Some fish have been landed using dry, dry dropper, indicator nymphing and streamers. Your best success will be very early in the morning during low light conditions. With long casts and light tippet try casting to rising fish with a dry fly big enough to see and a blood midge dropper 1-2’ below. You can also try stripping streamers through pods of rising fish. Fishing should improve as temperatures cool. Current surface temps have been 68-72 degrees
