The reservoir elevation is currently 6,017 feet, approximately 22 feet below full pool. The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) is releasing additional water from Flaming Gorge as part of the Drought Response Operations Agreement (DROA) to support downstream infrastructure. All Utah boat ramps should be usable through the fall. You can view reservoir water elevation data and boat ramp survey data on the BOR website. The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources will report any boat ramp issues on Fish Utah and is working with the U.S. Forest Service to clear ramps of debris as water elevation declines. The Horseshoe Bend cutoff is no longer usable. Watch for more and unexpected submerged hazards as we get into the summer. You will find fish in different locations this year due to drawdowns, similar to 2022. Check our social media (Facebook, Instagram) and Fish Utah for more information. Read the BOR's new release about the water releases.
