Fishing Opener 2026 was a great success! Lots of nice ones caught and pretty good weather. Thanks to everyone who turned out and had a good time! We have a few pictures to share. A few @bridgeportfishenhancement trophy fish were caught as well.
Biggest fish we saw at the marina goes to Ethan Dixon of Arvada, CO at 7lbs9oz! Not pictured he also got a 3lb3oz.
Jeremy, Nick, Jesse, Big Dog, and Bob of Whittier, CA got a sweet stringer on nightcrawler.
Rick Reid and Rick Prunnell of Grass Valley and Sunnyvale CA with rappala.
Chris Hanks of Castaic CA all around 3-4lbs on Thomas buoyant.
Mike Suarez and crew caught there’s on rappalas. These guys are from Santa Clarita CA.
Ken McNerney of Glendora and Vince Razzano of Orange CA got their on rappalas.
When you catch a BFEF tagged trophy trout, take it to Ken’s Sporting Goods for verification, bragging rights picture, and to sign up for the trout derby. BFEF TTT are stocked throughout Bridgeport area waters.
