Well, Winter is over on the Truckee River.

I'm sure we'll still get some weather this Spring, but man, this is crazy. 70's about everyday in Truckee. Needless to say the fishing is pretty darn good. 

Skwalla's, early caddis, march browns, blue wings. Everything is in the drift and nymphing should get you some. Might get lucky and get some on top too. 

Spring is usually streamer time, but with this sunny weather, well, we've been mainly nymphing. 

Everything is happening early this year. It's fishing about a month early. So feeling like late April on the Truckee River.
