Fishing conditions: Fair to Good
Report: As the weather warms and the days get longer, Hat will be a good option to check out. Some good days can be had in the flats and lower in the system below Highway 299 with the winter stoneflies. There are a lot of smaller mayflies and midges coming off, so small Zebra Midges and the BP Weiss nymph works well under a dry. We would also like to take this chance to remind folks who fish the Powerhouse 2 riffle that the wild trout spawn in this section. Use caution to stay off of any redds and let the fish do their thing so we have a healthy fish population.
Hot Flies:
• Lance's Jigged X-May
• Rubberlegs
• Sweet Pea Jigged Baetis
• Pheasant Tails
• Mercer's Missing Link
• S&M Nymph
• Walt's Worm
