Winter Fly Fishing Clinic on the Truckee River through the Nature Conservancy in Nevada. We will rendezvous to different access spots, and learn how to fish the Truckee River in Nevada. I will go over different techniques and water to fish. This is an everything type of clinic, if you want to euro nymph, indicator, streamer, or even dry fly fish, I'll cover it.

The Truckee River in Nevada has great Wintertime angling opportunities. The water is warmer than the Ca side, and in general the fish grow bigger.  

I'll show you the 15 miles of Nature Conservancy water. 

I'll take you to different access spots-so you can understand where to go, what water to target, and the flies and techniques that work well on the Nevada side of the Truckee River.

Fish however technique you'd like. This is more about learning where to go and the water to fish, but if you wanna say, fine tune your Euro game, I'll teach you. If you wanna be a better streamer angler, I got ya. 

I'll have flies and rigging materials. Of course bring your own gear, flies, tippet and such, and a Nevada fishing license.  

We'll do about 5 hrs or so on this clinic. We'll meet at Lockwood Regional Park, off the Lockwood exit East of Reno at 9:00.
