Riviera Marina Fishing Report

Colorado River - Laughlin - Laughlin, NV

The fishing for stripers here along our shores of the Colorado River is doing very well, especially when using anchovies as bait. Our fishing club has been active and catching a few in the Rotary Park area. Gary Regan is mentoring Selah Boyd, Deiylaa, Jonathen Longtime, Zamayah Williams, and Jacob Wilkerson, who are sharing the fish that were caught on our last outing. The larger striper weighed in at 3.12 pounds and measured 21 and 3/8 inches. All the fish were caught from shore.

This week, we also have a local angler who was fishing from shore in the Nature Center area. This spot is a great place to relax and is becoming popular among anglers and locals just looking to hang out. Bruce Wolfe was fishing by the cliffs using anchovies and landed a nice-sized striper weighing 3.32 pounds and measuring 22 inches. Once again, it's a fantastic area for fishing.

We haven't heard much from Lake Mohave, but with the water warming up, that should change soon. The lake offers a variety of fish to target, including stripers, channel catfish, largemouth and smallmouth bass, and carp. Panfish on the lake don't seem to receive as much attention as the redear down in the Havasu area, and they don't grow as big.

We hope this information helps, and we look forward to seeing you to share your catch and your story. Thank you so much for all of your support. Now, go catch a fish!
