Riviera Marina Fishing Report

Colorado River - Laughlin - Laughlin, NV

Great news for our trout anglers and that is the rainbow trout stocking is back. That is the trout being brought in by the Willow Beach Hatchery. The federal hatchery provides us with fish about once a week and they seem to mix it up a bit. Like last week it was a Thursday this week it was a Wednesday, but we are getting some nice trout and the fish will stay around the area for a few days then anglers will have to hunt for the holes they hold up in.

Our local anglers Raymond Vaughn (blue shirt), Colin Barker (black shirt), and Tristan Louera (black hat) were fishing in the Rotary Park area using marsh mellows to land a few of the rainbow trout that were brought in. I am also hearing that community park has been producing a few limits of trout and a reminder its 5 trout here below the Davis dam along the Colorado river. The striper bite has mostly been on anchovies with some of the swim baits and pencil poppers bringing in some of the larger fish.

Up on lake Mohave trolling has been working well up near the basin using an umbrella rig. Not much word from the marsh area and we are getting close to waterfowl season when parts of the area are closed to fishing for hunters to capture a few ducks. If you're having some success in landing a few fish, please stop in and share the catch.

Mostly thanks so much for all of your support and we look forward to seeing you in soon.
