We are having a great run of stripers this season. Not much of size to these lately but plentiful they are. The shores here below the Davis Dam are producing fish. Up near the Dam or down by the nature center these smaller stripers are just all over. Anchovies has been the best bait so far and I haven't heard of any of the hard baits producing. Our local anglers Russel and Evan Mynk were out with Eathen Merritt with grandpa Mike Merritt. They were fishing from shore and landed a few stripers. Rocky Beria had some of the smaller ones he landed while fishing off of his jet ski. I know they look small but around trout size these fish filet out easy and the limit is 10 so that can make a great meal for friends and family. Fish tacos a favorite for most all.

The Topock Marsh area is producing cat fish some stripers and a few large mouth bass to add to the mix.

I have been hearing that up on Lake Mohave anglers are having some luck hooking a few stripers in the 3 to 6 pound range mostly near the dam and the coves up river from the power lines. Trolling a umbrella rig with some Berkley jigs in a pearl color around the basin along the Nevada side has been giving up a few of the larger size with a small mouth bass now and again in the 3 to 5 pound range.

Hope this helps some for now and we look forward to seeing you ins soon to share that catch and the story on how you did it. Mostly thanks for all of your support see you soon ice that fish down.
