Black bass anglers are having luck with pencil poppers and Rat-L-Traps thrown near dense vegetation. Rainbow trout action has slowed, but fish can still be found cruising shaded areas just offshore. For a striped bass bite, try using anchovies just below Big Bend State Recreation Area.

Cold Creek Reservoir: Outlet structure is being repair
Comins Lake: Improved Boat Ramp Work is Affecting Access to The Lake
Illipah Reservoir: The water level is down as water is being taken out for irrigation
Jakes Creek Reservoir (Boies Reservoir): The water level is down about a foot and aquatic vegetation is building
Jiggs Reservoir (Zunino Reservoir): The lake has very low water levels
Ruby Lake NWR: No change here as trout fishing in the collection ditch continues to be good
