Colorado River - Laughlin Fish Report for 10-7-2020
Riviera Marina Fishing Report
Colorado River - Laughlin - Laughlin, NV
Look where we live super weather and great fishing opportunities. Here below the Davis Dam along the shores of the Colorado River or by boat the striper action remains great. Our local anglers Ben Aleman and Chris Vasquez landed a nice stringer of striper while fishing from Bens boat while using anchovies. One of the larger ones weighed in at 7.64 pounds and was 29 and 3/4 inches. Our other featured local angler Rocky Beria was fishing off his sea doo down below the nature center. Not much word from the marsh area should be some large mouth action with spinner baits working or some channel cats and anchovies or chicken livers usually produces some good hook ups in that area.
Up on Lake Mohave the stripers just haven't made it to the dam as of yet so check the coves near the power lines and watch for the boils and or birds feeding on the shad. Usually the stripped bass are close and various jigs and or anchovies can produce a few fish to your boat. some super good news we have trout rainbow trout from the willow beach hatchery. The crew at this hatchery do a superb job on raising these fish for our anglers and the staff does a great job on getting them to us. A reminder the limit of trout here below the Davis dam is 5. I have been hearing of a few small mouth bass being landed along the shore line in the nature center area and the same up on Lake Mohave along the shelves with plastics working well and producing a few fish in the 3 to 5 pound range. Hope this helps for now and we look forward to having you in for a visit and to share that catch. most of all Thanks for all of your support
