Drawing for AZ Hawg Bass, 10 pound club prize to happen at Bass Pro Shops-February 11th

The 2019 AZ Hawg Bass and Fat Cat Challenges have closed and the prize drawing is fast approaching.

Only two entries into the 10-pound club for 2019.  One name will be drawn on February 11th at the Bass Pro Shops in Mesa at 7pm.

The prize will be worth $1,000.

In all, 13 entries were received from the three categories of the Hawg Bass Challenge making the inaugural season a success! Check out the brag board: https://fishaz.azgfd.com/bragging-board/

Three entries were received for the Fat Cat Challenge as well.

A new year is here and with it, a new Challenge, so get out and catch and release big bass and catfish!

Remember it’s all about returning the large brood fish back into the water quickly.  Make sure we can see the entire fish and the scale with the weight clearly visible and send your pictures to BFishing@azgfd.gov.
