Hello anglers, Today we departed on our annual Team Hoo 10 day trip. We picked up a good looking load of bait and cleared the point around 1300. We will be traveling down the line. We will keep you posted. Wish us luck

Excel Fishes The Lower Zone

Capt Justin checked in from the Excel as they have fished the lower zone for the last couple days looking for the bigger fish. Once we figured them out we managed to put some on the deck, we put a 291, 285, 260, 247, 217, and 204 Yellowfin Tuna in the hold. Along with those we some in the 180 - 190 lb range. Capt Justin checked in from the Excel to report that they had excellent fishing on the Ridge yesterday on the school size tuna, plus a few more Wahoo for our anglers. We are now at the lower banks looking for the bigger tuna and have seen a few on the meter but not willing to bite yet.
