Striped bass have been providing anglers with plenty of action for the past week. Various swimbaits from three to 12 inches in length are working. So too are live shad. Most fish being caught range from three to five pounds. Stripers can be found in water ranging from 10 to 25 feet deep near coves where they are targeting shad. For those seeking largemouth and smallmouth bass, areas near drop offs or backs of coves with brush cover are producing fish. Drop shots or crankbaits are catching the fish.
