Evan Kair is at it again! This time saving the large mouth bass by pulling out this 11.8 lbs invasive carp species from Lake Wohlford. It was caught off of a white powerworm by the Senior Shoreline

The trout fishing has picked up a little as a result of this week’s stock. Some anglers have had limited success with salmon eggs on the east end. The trout fishing has been very slow, hopefully the upcoming plant breaths some life back into it. Catfish can be found throughout the lake but the most action is typically at the west buoys. Lake Wohlford cats prefer cut mackerel, shrimp, or chicken liver. Small to medium sized bass are being caught around structure. They respond well to swimbaits, crawdads, and dark colored plastics.
