Water levels on the Lower Salt River below Stuart Mountain Dam could fluctuate between 800 cubic feet per second to as much as 3,000 cubic feet per second today and tomorrow, the Tonto National Forest announced.

The Salt River Project will be conducting equipment testing causing the water level to fluctuate. People recreating along the Lower Salt River below Saguaro Lake are advised to stay alert and be aware of the possibility of rising water levels in the Lower Salt River while tests are being conducted.
