Lahontan did not go dry in 2015 but it came close. Fish did survive and water is being directed in to the reservoir. It remains to be seen how good fishing will be this spring because of the effects of the drought. If you like fishing for carp, this is the place to go to get some nicely sized carp. No good reports from Lahontan yet but we imagine crappie fishing could be decent as temps warm, wiper/walleye fishing will be slow until the fall, we are planning to stock wiper again and when the reservoir level drops in September-October fishing will probably pick up again.
